.... my most favourite pic of the exhibition!
Here it is....
To be honest I love all the pics but this one, courtesy of Canterbury Museum, just takes me back to standing in the spot where this was taken.
I wish someone had taken a photograph over my shoulder when I first walked into see the exhibition...what my eyes saw and my heart felt is etched forever in me.
Two heart shapes sewn together, stuffed or not, embellished, embroidered, CQ'd,quilted, plain or fancy, anything goes. Add a loop for hanging. Choose your size. For ease of posting, envelope size is a good measurment. You can send them flat just add a note 'To be stuffed'. Sign (or not), add a message and where the hearts are from. This is a small measure of something nice to give in this terrible time.

Christchurch to Christchurch
Skilful hands of the St Lukes Craft Group, Burton, Christchurch, Dorset, UK have sent 25 great hearts. Many thanks.
In this group Eileen has family in Napier where I also live so.... Hi from a very sunny and warm day in Napier.
Denise has a son Graham in Mt Manganui, another beautiful place by the sea in New Zealand.
The heart with the fairy was made be an eleven year old with a name that looks kind of like mine...is it Yvie? (the ink was a little smudged) and the same surname!
Oops, this one missed out....was hiding under a chair!
