Two heart shapes sewn together, stuffed or not, embellished, embroidered, CQ'd,quilted, plain or fancy, anything goes. Add a loop for hanging. Choose your size. For ease of posting, envelope size is a good measurment. You can send them flat just add a note 'To be stuffed'. Sign (or not), add a message and where the hearts are from. This is a small measure of something nice to give in this terrible time.

So long...
....since a heart has arrived.
I do get amazing feedback from people who have seen them all together in their splendour.
Wow Evie, what a year and what a journey you have been on. When you celebrated the start of the year 2011, I expect you thought your year would be like any other year - the earthquake in Christchurch certainly changed all that. I have admired your really thoughtful approach to making sure that the people affected by all the heartache and destruction knew that others were thinking about them and that they were not alone. I still cannot help but think about the chch community frequently. The fact that so many communities came together around the world to ensure every family had a heartfelt hug was amazing. The culmination being the exhibition of hearts in the newly opened and refurbished museum; and what a wonderful display. This must also have brought a little comfort to the bereaved families too.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a joyful New Year with heartfelt thanks
It's lovely that people are still being inspired by this nearly a year from it's start. A little love can go a long way.
