Two heart shapes sewn together, stuffed or not, embellished, embroidered, CQ'd,quilted, plain or fancy, anything goes. Add a loop for hanging. Choose your size. For ease of posting, envelope size is a good measurment. You can send them flat just add a note 'To be stuffed'. Sign (or not), add a message and where the hearts are from. This is a small measure of something nice to give in this terrible time.

Make yourselves.....
.....comfortable. There is a lot of eye candy for you today.
We are .....
.... nudging at 2800 !!!!
We will go over that as I know of hearts in transit!
Hi Evie I have just seen the 'Hearts for Christchurch' in the Popular Patchwork Handbag Special 2011 which is out this week. I am so sorry to have missed the deadline for the hearts as I would have liked to have donated. My daughter lives on State Highway 8 with her husband and 3 week old son. My son-in-law spent 5 weeks in C'ch as part of the Urban Search and Rescue team - long after it disappeared from the UK News. If you have any other ideas for donation I would certainly like to hear.
I am still able accept hearts. If they miss the mass migration of hearts to Christchurch I will still get them there. I am waiting for the venue, where they will be exhibited, to reopen after being damaged in the earthquake so that has allowed the deadline to be flexible. That flows on to the distributuion of hearts being a little later too. If it is just appearing in publications I suspect another surge of hearts to arrive so will accomodate them too.
