The exhibition!

The hearts go around this whole space. My point and shoot digi doesn't do them justice but professional photographs are being taken. I took pictures over two days so once I post these I bet I find some I have missed posting. Enjoy, play 'spot my heart' (they are ALL there) and feel really, really good that you made this happen.

  4. Wow-wee!!! The museum staff did a wonderful job. It looks like a huge heart wave (like the cheering human wave at a sports match) welcoming those looking at it and enticing them to come for a closer view.
Thanks so much for the pictures, Evie, and also for leaving the one with the explanation on it a readable size when it is clicked on :).
    Cheers,
    Robyn

  9. That looks fantastic. What a great way to display all the hearts! Well done everyone and big thanks to you Evie for organising it all.

What does it say about me that I would have loved the job of sorting those hearts into colours! Do you think you can get therapy for that? Maybe that's what patchwork is, therapy for those with a compulsion to sort colours!

  18. Our family went to the Museum especially today to receive 4 of these amazing hearts. I think I can see 2 of them on the 5th picture... I would love to know who made them, but really, I just would like to thank all of you 'hearters'. It has been tough living here, and it really helps to know you are not alone;, my daughter (9) said the exhbition looked like a wave of love - we have visited it several times, and it is really special to us that so many people thought of us, and that we get to keep a piece of love to take home with us and keep. Thanks you all form the bottom of our hearts - I am in tears but in a good way!
